Excess lactic acid buildup in the blood and muscle tissue can cause stiffness, tremors, and cramps, potentially leading to muscle fiber damage. This impairs muscle function, reduces stamina, and lowers a horse’s willingness to perform, making training ineffective and competition results subpar.
Fresh Muscles supports lactic acid breakdown, significantly speeds up post-exercise recovery, and optimizes muscle metabolism, helping horses maintain peak condition. It also increases fatigue resistance and helps reduce markers linked to muscle cell damage.
Horses prone to tying-up syndrome may benefit from regular supplementation, minimizing the risk of recurrence.
Recommended for horses that:
- Undergo intense training
- Compete in events
- Are young and starting work
- Have underdeveloped musculature
- Experience muscle stiffness and tension
- Show reluctance to work or stiffness during movement
- Suffer from muscle or limb tremors
- Have prolonged recovery times after exercise
- Fatigue quickly during training
